Peristaltic pumps PCM Delasco™
Large savings in maintenance costs
The peristaltic PCM DelascoTM pumps are positive displacement pumps based on the ability of a soft hose to deform and then retrieve its original shape. They cover a wide range of industrial applications, in particular where flexibility and maintenance are required.
They operate using the principle of peristaltic motion to pump fluid through a tube in the same way that blood, food and oxygen are transported into the human body.
A hose is fitted against a roller, which, when rotated, pushes a part of the hose. The pressure in this section is released as the rotor rotates and the hose retrieves its original shape, momentarily creating a vacuum that causes the hose to be refilled with liquid. The compression applied to the hose causes a temporary seal and as the rotor rotates, the pumped fluid is forwarded and displaced to the pump outlet.
The combined function of suction and depression results in a positive displacement pump which has the following advantages:
Delasco™ DX Series
For robust and durable performance, the PCM Delasco ™ DX peristaltic pumps are designed to withstand internal and external wear factors, whether chemical or mechanical. Ideal for fluids with high solids content (up to 80%) and high specific gravity, for abrassive materials, corrosive fluids, shear-sensitive, high viscosity materials with trouble in flowing, also with the presence of air bubbles.
Delasco™ DL Series
The Delasco ™ DL range covers a wide range of industrial applications with heavy duty pump requirements that provide flexibility in use thanks to the targeted combination of rollers and hoses.
Delasco™ DL pumps have a hose that is constantly lubricated in an oil bath ensuring a long service life.
Delasco™ Z Series
Delasco Z range covers a wide range of applications with a variety of different hose materials and drive speeds, for maximum savings.
Delasco™ PMA Series
The ideal solution for dosing liquids at low flow and pressure
