Innovative three-lobe blower

 

RBS is the innovative three-lobe positive displacement blower air-end with a special 'low pulse' system to minimize pressure pulsation.

Special lobes design

The "heart" of the machine consists of the three-lobe optimized profile rotors with especially designed clearances for maximum volumetric performance. The casing features a patented Low Pulse system at the inner part of the discharge side, especially designed to smoothen pressure pulsation and hence noise, vibration and resonance effects.

Maximum security

The blower housing is made of high quality cast iron with strong reinforcments. The perfect operation of the helical timing gears is ensured by a lubrication system with oil splashing discs driven directly by the drive shaft, with a lifetime life proportional to the lifetime of the bearings.

Long bearing lifetime

Reinforced heavy duty roller bearings with a service life of at least 100,000 hours under the most adverse operating conditions.

 

 

 

High reliability

 

Isolation of the compression chamber from the oil sumps is done by means of special sealing with labyrinths and oil breathing arrangements, without wearing parts. The compressor is Class 0 certified and complies with ISO 8573-1 for absence of lubricating oil in the discharged air.
